Privacy Policy
How the SteadyKey website handles analytics and information shared when requesting service.
Last updated: September 8, 2026.
Scope of this policy
This policy covers information handled through the SteadyKey Locksmith website and information a customer chooses to provide when requesting service by telephone. The website does not currently provide a public account system, checkout, payment portal, or contact form.
Website analytics
The site uses Manus-provided Umami analytics to understand page visits, referral information, device and browser characteristics, campaign parameters, and selections of city-routing or telephone controls. The website does not need the content of a telephone call to record that a button was selected.
Telephone service requests
Information shared by telephone may be used to understand and route a request, identify safety concerns, confirm the requested service, verify authorization, provide an estimate, coordinate service, respond to questions, and maintain appropriate business and service records.
Authorization information
A caller may be asked for information that helps establish ownership, occupancy, tenancy, management authority, authorized vehicle use, employment or fleet authorization, or another legitimate right to request access or work. Only information reasonably needed for a legitimate service and recordkeeping purpose should be collected.
Sharing and providers
Information may be handled by service providers that support website hosting, analytics, telephone routing, communication, recordkeeping, or other approved operations. Information should not be sold as a customer list or used to expose a person’s address, lockout details, vehicle, key, access condition, or authorization issue in a public review response.
Retention and security
Records should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for service, accounting, dispute, legal, safety, and operational purposes and then disposed of securely. No internet or telephone system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
Browser settings may limit analytics. A caller can avoid providing information not needed for the request, but SteadyKey may be unable to proceed when reasonable safety, service, identity, or authorization information is unavailable.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated when the website, telephone system, service providers, forms, payment tools, retention practices, or applicable requirements change. The date above should be reviewed whenever a material feature is added.
